Totally adorbs. Just imagine Pride & Prejudice with guinea pigs. Brilliant. I didn’t realize this book existed until I saw it displayed at the bookstore. I’m a Pride and Prejudice fanatic and I love collecting any related books. So, of course, I bought this little gem right away. Plot-wise, it was a summary that hits the highlights. There were a few snippets that didn’t exactly follow the story but you can forgive the slight, considering the length of the book. Plus, for the people who have never read P&P, the story might make a little more understandable without going into deep details. The book itself is really well constructed. The photos are clear and sharp. The casting choice, I do have to say, was spot on. Readable. This is not meant for young children to read alone. There are words that might go over their heads.If you are a P&P fan or know someone who is, this is a perfect gift. It is a little pricey but it is so cute. I have no regrets.

Pride and Prejudice is one of the most beloved novels, so what could possibly make it any better? Only the addition of beautiful, sassy guinea pigs in Regency period costumes, of course.The book is abridged, of course, but is faithful to the original and hits all the high points. The design and costumes for the "stars" of the books are exquisite and capture the essence of Austen's beloved characters.This is a great gift for guinea pig lovers and Austen fans alike.

For all of you Guinea Pig lovers, this book is fabulous. Of course, most of you are familiar with the story, which is highly condensed, but it's the pigs and their costumes and sets that make it wonderful. Too cute!

Absolutely adorable! A piggy lovers "must have"! I have watched every version of Pride and Prejudice on film. The plot, costumes and scenery are beautiful and fitting to the time period of the real story. The fact that guinea pigs are the characters is what makes this book fun. A lot of time, effort, and originality was put into this book to let piggies be just as adorable and fun, if not more so, than any other animal.I highly recommend it!

Thank you to the people who put this book together - we should be best friends. There is nothing I love more than guinea pigs and costumed period dramas and here you've brought these two things together. A must for any guinea pig lover - sure, it's silly and just kind of sits on my bookshelf for the most part, but it makes me supremely happy to look a pictures of guinea pigs in victorian clothing.

It's hardly fair to say predictable since if you know Pride and Prejudice you know this book.However, the photos of the pigs dressed in their finery was truly full of surprises.I bought this for my sister who owns two guinea pigs. She was thrilled and loves this book. Even if you're not into guinea pigs, it's still fun.
