I enjoy these comics. This one has a cliffhanger like the others. Reminds me of the old Saturday morning cartoons from childhood. Keep up the good work.

These books are exactly what I was looking for for my kid. He loves Scooby and superheroes, so this is the perfect gateway drug to comic books for him.

Our three and five-year-olds both love these funny, silly mystery stories, and parents who watched the classic cartoons they're based on will get a chuckle from the references that are tucked into the dialogue. Fun to read out loud, too.

My son subscribes to the comic and loves it so as soon as he received this he opened it up and began reading it. I'm all about indulging his love of reading in any form.

But it turns out there IS a Phantom in here. With Bamm-Bamm's strength, the Phantom was unmasked. But Mystery Inc. wanted go back to their own timeline. With the help of Gazoo, they now find themselves in the future?!? To be continued?...(Issues 7-8 are a two-part Time-Travel arc)In issue 8, continuing from where Issue 7 left off, Scooby and the gang now find themselves in the futuristic future, home of the Jetsons. Even Scooby and Astro share same dog sounds. They made themselves at the Jetsons home, until...*groans* Spacely called George to come back to the office for something called 'Project X'. When they got there, they don't believe in ghosts, until the so-called 'Space Age Specter' appeared and scare them. Also Cogswell showed up as well. With it working, Mystery Inc. said goodbye to the Jetsons and finally made it back home.In issue 9, Superman calls upon Mystery Inc.'s help to deal with some weird stuff going on in Daily Planet. It was the work of the Prankster! Or it is the Trickster? Then the Red Kryptonite turned Superman into a crazed-rage monster. With the help of Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, and Kyrpto the Superdog, the Mystery Inc. gang turned Superman back to normal and captured the Prankster!In issue 10, the Mystery Inc. gang join forces with Johnny Quest, Haji, Bandit, Race, and Johnny's dad, Dr. Quest, to investigate a cursed ruby. But then suddenly, Dr. Quest was kidnapped by his nemesis Dr. Zin, and they went to the Island of Monsters to save him and stop Dr. Zin. But in an unexpected effort, they were kidnapped and tied into a pool of...SHARKS!!!! But with team-work, the ghost turned out to be Yellow Pinkie?!? (LOL!!!) Really?!? That's the bad guy's name? But they also find themselves in Yellow Pinkie's evil lair which is a volcano. But they escaped as the volcano erupts. Another successful team-up!In issue 12, Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Inc. got back to Gotham City to get a distress call from...Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy? It turns they stole an opal of osiris, but they think it's cursed. Then a ghost showed up. Shaggy thought it was Batman, but it was Catwoman. It turns out the Opal of Osiris was actually a Cat's Eye Opal. D'OH!!!! Really? A Cat jewel!!! Then, another ghost show up, this time with yellow gloves? It turns out it was Batgirl. About the Author

I have never heard of a textbook where THEY GET THE ANSWERS WRONG IN THE BACK OF THE BOOK. I've noticed this multiple times, each time spending around half an hour struggling to figure out how to get the same answer as them, before I realized, yet again, they were wrong. Who were the monkeys who made this crap? It's not just me being crazy, I looked online and people were having this problem with the 4th edition too. This is the fifth edition, and they still never got around to fixing something this important. They can move crap around so they can charge $200 more than before, but they can't fix blatant errors. And I've seen the sixth edition from a friend, and aside from page numbers being different so you can't follow along in a class that uses a different edition, there is seemingly no difference between them. This is the most blatant proof I've ever seen of the whole textbook industry being a scam and pure corruption.

I purchased this book new from Amazon because my daughter was told she needed a "new" book by her instructor so they could use the access code for the online Pearson labs. Upon receiving the book and attempting to activate the code on the Pearson site (the code inside the cover appeared new, and had to be scratched off), she was told the code was invalid. Thankfully she was able to reach a customer service representative who was able to generate her a new code, otherwise she would have had to pay a few hundred dollars more again for another code.Considering the outrageous cost of these textbooks, this is unacceptable.

I had my choice of taking a pre-calc track college algebra course using this book, or another using a book by a guy named Sullivan. I'm the kind of geek who will investigate course textbooks before I waste my time signing up for a class, especially with challenging material, like pre-calc algebra. Or it's challenging to a former liberal arts major like me.Sullivan was dry, boring, confusing and seemed deliberately abstruse in presenting the material. If you take a course using his book, you were guaranteed to spend a lot of time falling asleep from reading his dry, boring material--when you weren't on Khan Academy, in math labs and with math tutors trying to understand anything at all about what he was covering. Did I mention that his book is dry and boring? It's so dry and boring that it almost made me hate math--and I'm a math major!Blitzer is more direct and explains things in simpler terms, with numerous step-by-step examples to help you pick up how things work. He has a Great Questions feature that frequently covers the "bottom line" about complex material that gets to the heart of things and provides effective short cuts to understanding concepts in a memorable way. He explains things so well that you can teach yourself with his book, and this is NOT easy material for self-study. Unless you're a math genius, you could never do that with Sullivan.If you have a choice, like I do, and you're worried about understanding precalculus, take the class that uses this book. You won't regret it.

If you have ever used other math books or you're not a math person, you will be happy with Blitzer math textbooks. Out of all the math books I've used, Blitzer's tend to be the best. They are clear, concise, and show plenty of examples, which is something students tend to want above all else in a math book. Many textbooks tend to show only one or two examples per section or task. Blitzer's books show many. This book will do you justice if you're required to have it for a college algebra and/or trigonometry class.Please note that this package COMES WITH MYMATHLAB, as stated above. Do NOT buy it separately if you buy this product; the code comes with this. Amazon is offering another version that is just the textbook. DO NOT BUY THAT if you need MML. Currently, if your professor requires MML, this product is the best option. Do not buy the textbook and MML separately, unless you can get a used book for cheap (ie under 120ish), because it will not be worth it.

This book has everything you are going to need to learn Pre-Calculus. It has a good refreshing section at the beginning and each topic is standard with its theorems, definitions, then detailed problems step by step, reasons behind them, variety, and practice problems with solutions on the back. The solutions do not have supporting explanations but the example problems are not too challenging. This book works as an introductory to Pre-Calc and is not a source of challenging problems. For those, you will need to use the Math lab access code that comes with it, go to the internet, or get another book.This book comes with an online access code to use the internet for online lessons and Math Lab. If you are buying a used book, make sure you call to confirm that it has the access code, but be aware that used books usually do not have it because the previous owner already registered it on his or her own name. Better buy new. If this is required by your university or school, you will be in a pickle if your books comes without one. That Math Lab is a life saver because it provides detailed step by step instructions how to solve the math problems and newer versions come with online lessons too.Another point to check is that if you buy either older or new editions of Blitzer, make sure you have the required power and security access to use the online lab and lessons because the online book will not load properly if your computer is a dinosaur. Other times, the access code is no longer available because the edition is too old or too new and your computer does not support it.There is a web site they have that checks your computer to make sure you have the right stuff to open the books and lab.This tip will save you a lot of grief.

This is a great textbook for any veterinary student, veterinarian, or vet interested or soon to start their radiology residency.*I am a veterinarian looking to apply for radiology residency.-Thorough explanations with plenty of picture examples-Covers many differential diagnoses for common and uncommon radiographic findings-Covers the important physics that describes how radiographs are created, but is not formula based (not a lot of math)-Just the right thickness at about 1.5-2 inches thick.

I got this book as a birthday present for my husband who is a radiologist (for humans). He's got an interest in comparative radiology and this book made his day. The quality of the images, the comprehensive number of disorders, the clarity of the explanations, and the fact that it is a textbook of reference for VSci students and practitioners make of this textbook a pearl to have in our library.

This book really helps me make sense of the physics involved in radiology. Very good supplement to class lectures.

I have found Thrall to be an excellent resource text to get a good grounding in radiography and radiology. The text is written in a very reader-friendly style, covering the main points without being verbose. The many radiographic examples often cover more than one instance of a particular condition, giving the reader different perspectives on conditions. My only desire would be to have more of the radiographs labeled with the radiological points referred to in the text. The updated sections on Ultrasonography and MRI give a student (and current practitioner new to these technologies) a good understanding of them.

This is a great book for veterinary radiology if you want to know a lot about it. This is by no means an introductory level book. It has small print and a LOT of information. If you are looking to become very astute at radiography this book will help take you there. The pictures are good for the most part, although some are zoomed in so far you can't tell what the original radiograph was. I would recommend this book if you are looking for a good, in depth guide to radiology.

Great book to have for reference for digital imaging. Provides anyone with fabulous pictures. Also helps with understanding the principles of physics behind the images that are being seen on the screen and/or film.

This is the second radiology book I bought this year because the one I have is not interesting at all. This book has excellent radiographs with explanations and that what a clinician needs. You need to read this book word by word and it explain you a lot.
