This book contains stories that were told spontaneously to clients with various presenting issues. As such, they offer an interesting glimpse into the author's approach to therapy. They might inspire a new therapist to take the plunge and start making up stories on the fly as well. I was hoping for a more thoughtful approach.
I really like this book. The stories are just the right length to share with my clients. I work in a Substance Abuse treatment center and I like to read stories that apply to the clients and discuss them. Great way to begin a discussion about issues.
